September Captain of the Month
Congratulations to Janie Forbis of Paducah, Kentucky, she has been nominated by her teammates and randomly selected to be recognized as USTA Adult League "Captain of the Month". Janie has enjoyed USTA League tennis, the friends she has made and the competiveness of match play. She had missed the competitive nature of sports as an adult and was very happy to find that again in league tennis. To read more about Janie's family involvement and her favorite players, click here.

Congratulations to the teams that participated in the 2014 Kentucky State Tri-Level Championships, August 16th and 17th in Berea. Everyone completed two matches on Saturday while enjoying a delicous cookout by the Berea College Women's tennis team. The weather was picture perfect to play tennis. Unfortunately on Sunday, the rain put a damper on play. Match format was altered to try to beat the inevitable rain that promised to stop play. All matches on Sunday played an eight game pro set to complete their rounds. Some of the team winning pictures are available, others will be updated as they are received (due to rain). Thank you to Allen Jackson and his women's tennis team for a very nice weekend.
