Second Summer PTR ACE Training in KY

The Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) and USTA are commited to providing opportunities for diversity and inclusion to grow in Kentucky.

The ACE PTR training held earlier this month is an example of that commitment and advancement. ACE stands for “Advancing the Commitment to Education.” The focus is on training diverse coaches or coaches who work at a grass roots level to provide tennis to the underserved. The training offers scholarships to qualifying coaches.

On July 15 and 16th the LexingtonTennis Center hosted the latest PTR ACE training with 10 coaches in attendance and facilitated by PTR's Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator, Marc Stingley. See photo of Ailsa Currie, one of the youngest new members of the KY PTR family.
