The folks in Georgetown will be celebrating this week as a group of middle schoolers from Scott County brought home the 2016 Middle School State Championship on Sunday, November 13.  The tournament, played at Louisville Indoor Racquet Club November 13-14, brought in 20 teams from around the state for the 2^nd edition of the state tournament for 6^th-8^th graders.  Captain Michelle Jones led her group of boys and girls to the title, beating out the team from Paducah in the championship match.

Cumberland took home 3^rd place with their win over the Lexington squad on Sunday.
