November Letter From the President

It is almost Thanksgiving and a time in our calendar year when we turn inwards to reflect upon all that we have for which we are thankful and grateful. I would like to share with you something exciting that has been happening in the state of Kentucky over the past two years of which I am incredibly thankful and ecstatic.  We have courts!!! I can not tell you what a joy it is to report to you that courts are being built all over this state as we speak. It is impossible to increase tennis play, tennis opportunities or run programming without this precious asset.  Please find below some of the wonderful projects happening across our great Commonwealth:

 

Resurfaced

Seneca Park – Louisville – 10 courts

Crescent Hill – Louisville – 10 courts

Chickasaw Park – Louisville – 4 courts

Lebanon City Park – Lebanon – 4 courts

Blairwood Swim and Swim – Louisville – 8 indoor

Louisville Tennis Club – Louisville – 13 indoor

Christian Academy – Louisville – 6 courts

Mercy Academy – Louisville – 6 courts

Midway College – Midway – 6 courts

Pulaski Co HS - Somerset -  4 courts 

Shelbyville Parks and Recreation – Shelbyville – 6 courts

Bass Rudd Tennis Center – Louisville – 10 outdoor and 6 indoor

Hilary Boone Tennis Center – Lexington – 9 outdoor and 4 indoor

Noble Park – Paducah – Coming Soon

Ruff Park – Hopkinsville – Coming Soon

Frederick Douglas High School – Lexington – 6 courts

Louisville Tennis Club – Louisville – 2 courts

Shelby County High School – Shelbyville – 6 courts

Warren East High School – Bowling Green – 6 courts

Warren Central High School – Bowling Green – 6 courts

South Oldham High School – Crestwood – 6 courts

Top Seed Tennis Club – Nicholasville/Lexington – 12 indoor and 9 outdoor courts

Greenwood High School – Bowling Green – 10 courts

TOTAL COURTS = 63
