Zachary White wins Southern Level 3 in Knoxville

Zachary White joined a contingent of Kentucky players to Knoxville for the KRC Mid-Spring Championships and came away with the Boys 16s title.  White was the top seed in his draw and did not drop a set during the tournament.  Evan Duggal (Boys 14s) and Jonothan Harper (Boys 12's) were finalists in their respective draws.  On the doubles side, Jaycie Mair and Gabrielle Kauffmann paired up to win the Girls 16s doubles division.

Eli Stephenson wins Southern Level 2 Championship

Eli Stephenson became the first Kentuckian to win a Southern Level 2 Championship in 2019 by blasting his way to the Boys 14s title as the top seed.  Stephenson won his final comfortably in straight sets.  He also finished runner-up in doubles.  Grace Katzman was the top performer on the girls side, finishing 3rd in the Girls 14s draw.  Jaycie Mair had an impressive performance in doubles, making it all the way to the finals.    

Three Finalists at Southern Level 3 in Mississippi

Three Kentuckians made the finals at the Aquafina Championships in Mississippi, a Southern Level 3 event.  Sanam Krishnani (Girls 12s), Eric Ormsby (Boys 12s), and Sahil Krishnani (Boys 16s) all made the finals of their event.  Ormsby paired up with Sam Gurevich to win the doubles title in Boys 12s as well.
