Chattanooga, TN -- Kentucky's 12U Southern Junior Cup team headed to Chattanooga on September 9th and did not let the state down as several players had key roles in team success. Head Coach Keith Henderson lead the Poachers to a championship in the Silver Division, Tyler Bush (Louisville) as a key factor on that team.
Katherine Hudson (Louisville) also was a big factor in her team winning the Gold Division and Piper Charney (Louisville) took home a title in the Bronze Division.
Dylan Mather (Owensboro) took home individual MVP honors for his team, which finished 2nd in the Bronze Divison.
Eli Wood (Louisville) and Sarah Fazlagic (Louisville) also took part in the event, an invitation only event for the top players in that age division in the Southern Section. Players were selected due to their high rankings and results in 2016, as well as high marks in sportsmanship.
The 14-18's team will be headed to Chattanooga September 16th to participate in their division.

The Icy Hot Southern Junior Cup, formerly the Junior Davis/Fed Cup, was created to give juniors the opportunity to experience the thrill and camaraderie of tennis as a team sport.
