Junior girls are showing strong in Kentucky!

Kentucky female players hold the title of the #1 10U player in the South (Anna Du),  3 girls excelling at southern and national tournaments in 12-14U (Hadley Appling, Ellie Hammond, Haley Klein) and Carrie Beckman is a top 5 player in the south in 16U.  Kentucky also has a few others who are Top 25 players.

The girls are strong competitors but through their competition have developed strong friendships!

Ellie Hammond and Haley Klein are two such friends.  "On the court, Haley and I push each other and compete. Off the court, we are just regular kids having fun. It is nice to have a friend who you have a lot in common with.” said Ellie Hammond

Haley siad "Tennis is fun to play and compete at a high level and meeting many different girls at southern and national tournaments and becoming friends like I have done with my doubles partner Ellie Hammond. It’s fun to go out to eat at tournaments together too!"

Both girls would like to play Division 1 college tennis.  They are well on their way!
