Our October has been very busy starting the JCPS Elementary School League! This is the first program of its kind within JCPS and has 7 teams in the league. Each team was given three weeks to practice and now will play 3 matches. The schools in the league are Rangeland Elementary, Gilmore Lane Elementary, Slaughter Elementary, Price Elementary, Luhr Elementary, Indian Trail Elementary and Hartstern Elementary. This league has been partially funded by a program grant from USTA Southern. For most of the students, this is their first exposure to tennis and they are having a great time!
