JCPS Elementary School Leagues!
Your School Can Still Be Part of the Fun
Our September has been very busy starting the JCPS Elementary School League! This is the second year we have been able to offer this program, and we have over doubled the number of teams, from 7 to 16! Each team has begun their three weeks of practice, and beginning in October, will play in three matches.
The new schools who have joined us this year are Bloom, Norton Commons, Goldsmith, St. Matthews and Rutherford. This league has been partially funded by grants from USTA Southern. For most of the students, this is their first exposure to tennis and they are having a great time!
We still have space for a few more Louisville area schools to add an after-school tennis program this fall!
Programs are delivered by the Louisville 10 and Under Tennis Association and include a coach and all the equipment necessary. We will handle all registrations and payments.
