The Hilliard Lyons Wood Racquet Benefit Classic was held Sept. 25, 2016 at Freeman Lake Tennis Complex. The Elizabethtown Tennis Commission (ETC) and Hilliard Lyons were the sponsors of the event. This is the second annual Wood Racquet Benefit Hilliard Lyons and ETC have hosted and it was yet again a smash hit with 33 players from four different states participating!
The donations are still coming in, but so far $2100 has been raised for Hosparus Central Kentucky.
Each year the proceeds of the benefit are given to different local charities and this year the donations collected for the event will be given to Hosparus Central Kentucky in memory of TJ Rhoades.
