USTA Kentucky was established in 1910 and has a current membership of over 9,200. Policy is formed and much of the organization's work is executed via a board and committee structure of over 100 volunteers. A professional staff, housed in Louisville, compliments the volunteer structure and is charged with carrying out the daily operations of the organization.

Sharon Rahman   Sharon Rahman -- Executive Director
As Executive Director, Sharon will provide leadership and guidance in all aspects of USTA Kentucky and will work with individuals and associations across Kentucky to promote and develop the growth of tennis throughout the state. Sharon handles specific questions on USTA Kentucky and Endowment Fund Board policies and guides all activity of the USTA Kentucky staff. Sharon is the staff liaison to the Management, Hall of Fame, Nominating, Finance, Fundraising, Raise a Racquet and Awards Committees.










Karen Johnson -- Office Coordinator
Karen is responsible for the day-to-day accounting, office and organizational duties. She provides administrative support to staff, coordinates event planning and customer service related duties.



Kathy Klein -- State League Coordinator
Kathy is the State Coordinator for the Adult, Senior, Mixed Doubles, Combo Doubles, Super Senior, and Tri-Level USTA League programs. She is responsible for USTA League administration, League championships, and working with Local League Coordinators to provide opportunities for people to play USTA League tennis. Kathy is the staff liaison to the Kentucky Adult Leage Committee.


Brad Gordon -- Marketing and Promotions Coordinator
Brad is theMarketing & Promotions Coordinator and handles all aspects of USTA Kentucky marketing; from publications and media relations to fundraising, advertising and sponsorships. He is responsible for updating the website, monthly eNewsletters and other collateral pieces, in addition to helping CTAs, events and all USTA Family members. The Marketing & Promotions Coordinator is the staff liaison for the Marketing and Multi-Cultural committees.


Andrew Walker-- Community Development, Schools & NJTL Coordinator
Andrew is the Community Development Coordinator for USTA Kentucky. In this capacity, he supports and encourages tennis efforts. He works to create and advance local Community Tennis Associations across Kentucky. He assists CTAs in obtaining grants, and with other staff he coordinates the delivery of USTA programs through local communities. Andrew is the staff liaison to the Community Development Committee. Andrew also coordinates USTA School Tennis and National Junior Tennis & Learning chapters (NJTL) across Kentucky.  He helps use these programs to promote, introduce and encourage increased play opportunities to youth across the state.



Competitive Player & Jr. Team Tennis Coordinator
As the coordinator for several USTA Kentucky participation areas, the Competitive Player & Jr. Team Tennis Coordinator oversees sanctioned tournaments and player rankings and USTA Jr. Team Tennis. In addtion, he/she will work to develop and increase competitive and recreational play opportunities for adult and junior players. He/she will also serve as the staff liaison to Adult Competition, Junior Competition, Junior Recreation and Wheelchair Tennis Committees.


Jason Miller   Jason Miller -- USTA Southern Section Tennis Service Representative
As the Tennis Service Representative (TSR), Jason's work revolves around meeting with facilities and organizations who offer tennis and discussing ideas and strategies to facilitate the growth of tennis participation. He travels extensively across the state to promote, develop, and service programs through the establishment of strong relationships with local tennis facilities, industry organizations and other non-tennis entities.
