Ezekiel Salama of the Rising Stars of Kentucky Tennis (RSKT), a National Junior and Tennis Learning (NJTL) chapter, has just been announced as Kentucky's NJTL Essay Contest Winner for 2017.
As a prize for having the winning essay for Kentucky, Ezekiel and his mom were able to attend and partake in the 2017 Winston-Salem Open in North Carolina. Ezekiel got to meet amazing tennis professionals like Donald Young Jr.
The RSKT boasts both district and National essay contest winners over the last 20 years. Ezekiel makes the 18th essay contest winner to come out of the RSKT. The NJTL strongly encourages its young members to participate in the essay contest and winners have even gone on to win National USTA college scholarships.
