The Annual Kentucky Community Development Workshop is an opportunity to gather community tennis leaders from over 20 different areas across our state, to learn, grow and be empowered to provide tennis in their respective communities.
The event will kick off with a tennis social at Blairwood Tennis, Swim & Fitness club Friday evening. This social gathering is an opportunity for people to enjoy food, beverages and some laughs on the tennis court. Networking and smack talk is to be expected as everyone who shows up for this event always brings their "A" game.
Saturday morning the community tennis leaders will gather at the Marriot Louisville East for a day packed with information and networking. The morning will begin with a key note speaker, Dr. Stephanie Barnes, who will present an interactive, comprehensive talk on volunteer development and recruitment. Then everyone will be invited to have specific conversations regarding key areas of interest to bolster their communitie's tennis activity! At noon all participants will attend the USTA KY Annual Awards Luncheon and celebrate individuals and organizations across our state that have shown excellence in their tennis involvement.
